Fostering a culture of compassion, capability, and customer service

Our Story

ATRIO Health Plans

ATRIO Health Plans was established by Oregon physicians in 2004 and has since grown to serve thousands of members in Douglas, Josephine, Jackson, Klamath, Marion and Polk counties.

ATRIO Health Plans fosters a culture of compassion, capability, and customer service. Our mission is to deliver high quality health insurance at a reasonable price, leverage the talents of our people, and foster deeper community connections.

We work closely with local providers of care to improve health outcomes for our members and the communities we serve. From our numerous educational resources to our easy enrollment process to our physician-led care coordination programs, we strive to ensure our members have all the resources they need to make informed decisions about their health plan selection and accessing quality care.

Living ATRIO’s Values Every Day!

We have a great team here at ATRIO!   Our employees are the foundation of our success.  But what really makes our team successful are the values we share.  These values serve as a North Star that guides us to perform in our jobs and the positive impact we have on our members, providers, partners, and even with each other.

I want to take a minute to highlight each of these core values and the importance they hold in our day-to-day work.

Ø  Always put our members first – Our members are our priority!  Everything we do in our jobs has an impact on how we support them along their health care journey.  When our members are happy, our jobs get easier.  Always keep an ear open for member feedback – good and bad – and be empathetic to their questions and needs.  Let’s put ourselves in our members’ shoes and give them our full support and attention.

Ø  Think critically – When issues arise, it’s easy to simply react without taking a moment to think things through.  Don’t be afraid to bounce ideas off your colleagues or even disagree with them.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and often there is more than one solution to a problem.  If you disagree with a colleague, make sure you provide constructive feedback and explain your reasoning for your position.  As always, be professional and respectful in any feedback you provide.

Ø  Remove obstacles to collaborate – Often, our workdays are hectic and we can become easily distracted or try to multi-task. It’s important to not only remove those obstacles that may prevent focus, but make every effort to break down the silos and get to know your colleagues and partners, know their roles and understand their priorities. Communication is key!

Ø  Impact outcomes – We tell our members that every voice matters.  The same is true for our employees.  Don’t settle to just stand on the sidelines.  Make an impact and let your voice be heard!  We have an incredibly talented team and everyone at ATRIO can make a difference!  Don’t be afraid to show others what you know, and learn from them, as well.

Ø  Optimize relationships – Think about our members, providers, partners and prospects and ask yourself, “How can we do what we do better?" It all starts inside ATRIO – with each other. Capitalizing on the first four values helps us build on how we grow together. We share common goals. We learn from each other. We break down barriers and succeed. No one person is ATRIO. We are a team. We are a family!
